Areas of Practice
Greg is a specialist commercial litigator experienced in resolving a wide variety of business disputes. His clients range from private individuals to international companies.
He has particular expertise in the areas of insolvency and tax litigation. He often acts for receivers and liquidators. He is a leading expert on the tax dispute resolution process.
Greg is regularly in court. His appearances have been at all levels of the New Zealand Courts. In 2002 he appeared in the Privy Council before appeals there were discontinued.
He is also well versed in alternative methods of dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. His involvement in arbitrations is as both counsel and arbitrator.
Greg was a litigation partner at Kensington Swan before joining the independent bar in 2008.
