Frances Joychild has been practising law for 21 years. Since 1998 she has practised as a barrister sole, working in general civil litigation with an emphasis on human rights, torts, employment, public law, privacy and relationship property.
Frances was a Law Commissioner from 2003 to 2006.
Frances graduated from Victoria University in 1978: BA/LLB Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Political Science. In 1998 she graduated from Auckland University with a LLM(Hons).
